What NFL jerseys would our presidents have worn? Here’s all 44 guesses

AP So a reader of UniWatch.com, Alec Tolivaisa, had this thought: what if I made a graphic that showed what NFL team each of our 44 presidents would have rooted for? And so he did. Of course it was easy for presidents such as Barack Obama and George W. Bush, whose rooting interests are known. But what of, say, Martin Van Buren? Football hadn’t even been invented yet.
There are also some apparent miscalculations. Richard Nixon appears to be represented by a 49ers jersey; but didn’t he at one time actually send plays to his pal, George Allen, who coached the Washington Redskins? Anyway, here you go:
