KHL junior player Artem Voronin scores shootout goal with trick shot (video)

Just when you thought that you had seen every hockey shootout goal imaginable, KHL junior player Artem Voronin of MHC Spartak provides us with a new one.

Voronin’s shootout attempt happened in a recent game against Almaz and Artem used some slight of stick to pull off his trick shot score.

Watch as Artem skates towards the goal for the attempt and at first glance, it appears that Voronin is going to shoot it straight at the Almaz goalie. Instead, Artem pushes the puck behind him and past Almaz goalie Kirill Grigoryev for the score:
