Dennis Rodman returned from a recent trip to North Korea announcing that he and its Supreme Leader, Kim Jong-un, are now pen pals. Then after a grilling by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Rodman cancelled several other TV appearances and has faded into the background.

But not before a parting shot by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who was speaking in Doha, Qatar, in an interview on “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC.

“Dennis Rodman was a great basketball player,”Kerry told NBC News. “And as a diplomat, he is a great basketball player. And that’s where we’ll leave it.”

Damn, Kerry even got the part of the basketball player wrong. The only thing he’s ever done right is marry the Heinz heiress.
