Michael Irvin is also in it … but no Troy Aikman. Hmm. But wait — there’s LaDainian Tomlinson and Marshall Faulk. The video below is a public service announcement in favor of gun law reforms, and was released today by Mayors Against Illegal Guns, which was founded by New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg and Boston mayor Thomas Menino.

A solemn Smith speaks into the camera: “For the children of Sandy Hook Elementary.” Then Tomlinson adds, “Demand a plan.”

Faulk says later: “It’s time for our leaders to do something.”

Somehow when Emmitt says “Right now,” you get the feeling he means it.

They need to stick to athletics, something they have a clue about. I’m sure Mayor Dumberg paid them well to do it, too. He’s a first class jerk.

@skids003: Yes, they grew up in high crime neighborhoods, so how would they ever have a clue about gun crimes and the effect it has on the devastated families who have lost a loved one to a senseless crime.
The video is called “Mayors against illegal guns”.
So I guess that you, “skids003″, are telling us that you are in favor of illegal guns.
Thanks for having a clue, Skids, and for chiming in.
