Getty Images Since Major League Baseball pitcher John Smoltz made a fair amount of cash during his career, you would expect him to have a pretty nice house but possibly the most impressive thing about the homestead might be the backyard.
The estate in Milton, Georgia made a special appearance on the HGTV hit show “Million Dollar Rooms” and while the mansion itself has an impressive 10 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, here is just a short list of what is on the 22 acre property behind it:
-> 9-hole golf course
-> putting green that has lights to practice at night
-> baseball field with splash zone beyond left field
-> fishing pond
-> tennis court
-> volleyball court
-> full basketball court
In terms of the actual building of the yard, Smoltz did most of the work himself along with a full-time landscaper and the future Hall-Of-Fame pitcher estimates that the yard is worth nearly $2 million dollars by itself:
