I don’t think he realized the guy was not going straight to the rim. Looking at it,the shooter was beginning to reverse from the far side of the rim,but only brought the ball up into the defender.Definitely a hard foul,but did not have the big face slap/elbow to the head that marks the truly dirty play these days.

did you have to mention he was a transfer from IU? I am not sure anyone even remembers he was on the team or if he ever played in a game while there.if he was there before last season he had chance and obviously was not good enough to play, even for the lousy teams they had before last season.
