Women’s college basketball announcer channels WWE’s New Age Outlaws with buzzer beating call (video)

Back on Friday night, a women’s college basketball game between Siena and Canisius saw an unlikely finish as Canisius guard Tiahana Mills won the game on a half-court buzzer beating shot.

Normally, that would be enough to make this clip notable but Canisius play-by-play man Mike Scott made the moment even more memorable by channeling some old-school wrestling with his call.

After Mills shot dropped through the net and she was mobbed at center court by her teammates, Scott dropped by the below line made famous by the former WWE super group “New Age Outlaws” which he cleaned up a little:

    Ehh, it loses it’s luster when it’s edited. What’s worse is that I know it in the first place….

    Then again, he could have dropped the line-
    “If ya smelllllllllllllllllllllll what Canisius is cooking”
