New England Patriots receiver Brandon Lloyd jumps over Smart Car…sorta

Although Lakers star Kobe Bryant did the stunt a couple of years ago, that didn’t stop New England wide receiver Brandon Lloyd from attempting to duplicate his act by jumping over a speeding car.

The fine folks with Mobisquad posted the clip of Lloyd hanging out with some of their employees on top of a parking garage and deciding to show off his hops by leaping over a speeding Smart Car.

Much like the Kobe Bryant clip, some editing and visual trickery was used to accomplish the act since no NFL head coach or team would ever approve a current player jumping over a car for a stunt:
