OK, yes, Yao Ming’s golf game needs some work. But cut him some slack: while you’ve been perfecting your game all summer, he’s been on maneuvers with the rhinoceros protection militia.

It happened at the World Celebrity Pro-Am in Haikou, China, where Yao almost rubbed shoulders with celebrities Ryan Reynolds, Adrien Brody, Michael Phelps and Minka Kelly. Matt Kuchar won the professional portion of the event.
