Ref who made Monday Night Football TD call apparently went partying the following night … with Packers fans?

Referees-The Expertise Factor AP

Well, we won’t have Lance Easley to kick around anymore. The NFL replacement ref, whom we wrote about on Wednesday, is retiring his striped duds after the real NFL refs came to terms with the league last night. But his story, it seems, is not over.

One might think that Easley — who made the infamous touchdown call on the Hail Fail Mary pass in the end zone in the Packers-Seahawks game — would have gone into seclusion afterwards. But Larry Brown Sports brings us the news that, apparently, Easley hit a club in Fresno on Tuesday night, partying the night away with … Packers fans?

George Takata, the sports director at KPGE CBS 47 in Fresno, tweeted a photo he says is of Easley at Club Habanos — a bar/club in Fresno, Calif. He’s with a girl in a Packers shirt.

Easley resides in Santa Maria, Calif. — about 170 miles from Fresno, which I assume has the closest major airport.

With all the jerk writers in the media taking shots at him, I thought he would go into hiding too. Guess he don’t care what they think. BTW, I bet 99.9% of the writers in the media couldn’t referee a checker match.

And neither they nor any of us could throw an accurate football with a 300-lb. monster bearing down on us, but we can sure tell when it’s done badly.
