Morning Mail: U.S. women’s gymnastics team all do the ‘McKayla is not impressed’ face on Letterman (video)

David Letterman isn’t exactly my go-to source when it come to discussing Internet memes. But since the gold medal-winning U.S. women’s gymnastics team were guests on his show on Tuesday, he kind of had to approach the subject.

As you know, McKayla Maroney is currently queen of Meme Land, after her expression on the medal stand was captured in a series of Photoshops. It’s the McKayala is Not Impressed meme — Here’s my favorite — and Letterman asked her about it.

“It’s funny,” she said. “Actually [my teammates] saw me doing it on the stand and said ‘You’re doing the face again.’”

The others said they were all working on the expression themselves, then gave a demonstration.
