We’ve seen some pretty hard hits so far during the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs but the biggest hit might have come in Stockholm, Sweden during the Ice Hockey World Championships.

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall playing for Sweden took some time during their match-up against Latvia to send one of their players into the boards and straight to the bench.

The victim was Latvia’s Kaspars Saulietis and Mr. Kronwall might have sent Kaspars into another world with this huge hit:

It proves that Kronwalling can be done at any time in any time zone.

At least a few more. You think the “flying spider” or “back-check” or whatever you want to call it would be on players’ minds by now.

      That dude got lit up.
