Davidson’s baseball team is 17-28 overall, 8-19 in the Southern Conference — and the Wildcats have lost seven of their past eight. So this fan was a tinderbox to begin with. Therefore when Jonathan Papelbon surrendered a three-run homer in the ninth to give the Mets a 5-2 lead over his last-place Phillies, a good cursing-out, Philly-style, was called for. But cooler heads prevailed … something that cannot often be said concerning the citizens of Citizens Bank Park. Well played, madam.

More Philly fans of all sports should take in this action.

Put hand over mouth and shut up.

But then tell me who will boo first round draft picks, winning teams, and santa clause?

No. This world needs Philly fans.

1st round draft pick was booed by 30 idiots who went to the draft because they wanted Ricky Williams. They are called the dirty 30. So stop putting all of us together on that.

We cheer louder and with more passion for our winning teams then any fan base out there. That is also why we boo them when we fail to see effort or when teams and players make the same mistake over and over.

Santa Clause was a drunk they pulled off the streets because the guy who was supposed to be Santa that day didn’t show. It was over 40 years ago.

We did cheer M.Irvin’s injury and I was never prouder of my fellow Philly fans so eat it douche bag!
