Controversial cheaters web site offers $1 million to anyone who can prove they’ve slept with Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow AP

You may remember Ashley Madison.com for such hits as the Tom Brady vs. Eli Manning cheaters poll, and offering $25 million to put its name on the new Meadowlands Stadium. It’s a site for people who want to cheat on their spouses, so the lack of shame here is no surprise. Which brings us to Ashley Madison’s latest publicity stunt.

The site is offering $1 million to anyone “who can prove that she knows Tebow in a biblical sense.”

AshleyMadison.com:

AshleyMadison.com founder and CEO Noel Biderman says Tebow should embrace his status as a sex symbol. “Sports and sex (and of course, infidelity) go hand in hand. If Mr. Tebow is indeed abstaining from adult relationships, I would encourage him to find a nice lady or two and enjoy his youth and fame as much as possible. We are beyond the days where pre-marital sex has a social stigma, and it is my hope that soon we will also feel the same about infidelity. I guarantee that no man of Tim Tebow’s stature could survive a season in New York without succumbing to the temptations of the city (i.e. pull a Brett Favre).”

I see no reason to drag Favre into this.

On Monday another site invited readers to guess how much sex do you think Tim Tebow won’t have in his Hoboken bachelor pad?

If you’re thinking all of this is a bit sordid and unfair toward Tebow, I would have to agree. There are some athletes who deserve being raked over the coals in the media, but he really isn’t one of them. I won’t say that Tebow is just minding his own business — he does a lot of proselytizing — but is that really so awful? He’s just trying to do some good in the world.

The last thing we need is a bunch of women coming out of the woodwork with Tebow sex stories. We don’t want another Tiger Woods!

I see no reason to drag Woods into this. Please disregard previous two sentences.

Good publicity gimic. There will be no takers. What would they provide as proof, DNA? Hidden cameras? If they had that they would be the type to have already attempted blackmail. Glad Tebow is such a focus for so many in the media and pseudo-media. That is sad.

You never know what a women may save as a keepsake…ask Bill Clinton. Feelings can change with time. Tebow’s bank account is growing with all the endorsements and the temptation to cash in, if there is something, would also grow as well. A lot of women kept Tiger Woods secret for a long time, but had no problem cashing in when the time came.

Very sad. Our society , when I think it can’t sink lower, it does. I agree with you again Rick, it’s not only unfair to Tebow, it’s demeaning. He ought to sue them.

It’s not surprising since this is their typical M.O. and Tebow has for all his talk of his faith put the old target on his back so to speak. Actually, if he is as faithful to his beliefs as he says he is, he should relish the challenge because he could only come out stronger looking in his faith. If on the other hand, he hasn’t been quite what he seemed, then he shouldn’t be dismayed if the truth comes out because it’s his own doing.

Key thing… “prove” you knew him in the Biblical sense. Monica L had the goods… someone else needs to be forward thinking enough if it happened!

Who didn’t see this coming (no pun intended, truly) when the reports of his dating surfaced?

Isn’t it a bit discriminatory to automatically assume it would be a woman?

A website for people who WANT to cheat on their spouses? Think about that. Can society sink any lower? “What do you do for a living, sir?” “Why, my dear, I started an Internet site for people who want to cheat on their spouse. Would you like to go out sometime?” That may actually redefine the word idiotic.

“She”?? Everytime I see or hear this guy, my gaydar goes off.

Bravo Rick. You share my same belief on the matter. If you hate Tim Tebow because of the way he carries himself off the football field, then you probably aren’t that great of a person yourself.

can women sink any lower?? sex before marriage has made ‘ho’s out of our girls–shacking up has made them concubines without any benefits–now a site for cheaters–yeah we are ‘devolving’ not ‘evolving’ thanks to NOW and planned parenthood

    • datcrazybok - Apr 25, 2012 at 1:58 PM

With all due respect, your categorization of “devolving” is not entirely accurate. You see, it is evolutionarilly beneficial to spread your seed as far and as wide as possible. To ensure your bloodline is continued, and all. I would actually posit that monogomy is the devolution, and this sort of behavior would be evolutionarilly beneficial. Monogomy has no evolutionary benefit.
