Jose Canseco thinks global warming could have saved the Titanic

Back in late March, former MLB player Jose Canseco decided to go on an epic Twitter lecture/rant about the existence of global warming. After that rant, most assumed that we wouldn’t have to hear about Canseco’s thoughts on the matter for awhile but we would be wrong.

Flash forward to earlier today on the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic; Jose went on Twitter to tell the world that if global warming existed, the Titanic might have been saved:

Titanic 100 years wOw. Global warming couldve saved titanic. Sad to say. Because we don’t recycle and consume like crazy icicles are non existent. Titanic wouldve still existed today.

After getting bombarded by tweets based on the remarks, Canseco decided to provide some logic to defend his position:

You clowns it’s very simple. With global warning the weather is hotter so the icebergs would be melted and titanic saved. 100 years ago people actually cared about planet and respected nature. Now we can care less and consume energy like it’s free.

I still don’t get it. 100 years ago, people cared about the planet so no global warming and icebergs roamed free; but, because we don’t care about the planet now, the titanic would have been saved because global warming melts icebergs and apparently goes backwards in time?

But wait! If that’s the case, then the passengers of the Titanic would be able to warn us in the future that global warming was getting worse in the past and they would be able to stop it, except by stopping global warming, they would be killing themselves (icebergs are back!) and then the whole thing starts over again in a universe destroying paradox.

    CANSECO!!!!!!!!!!

Jose canseco…man, former ball player, author, and a guy who was once the best player in MLB and is now a weird attention starved nut job.

Maybe Canseco should have “cared about (the) planet and respected nature” enough to keep himself from using boatloads of steroids. Then his nuts might be larger than the size of peas!
