Here’s an example among the wide variety of Jeremy Lin t-shirts that are currently available online: the Knicks will have their own version available at Madison Square Garden tonight as well. We’re rooting for him of course, but as Sweater Punch points out, it’s a bit early for Jordan comparisons, eh? Let’s not over-hype the lad and set unreasonable expectations. We don’t want another Tebow. (We don’t, right?).

The Warriors kicking Lin off the bus is a bit of an exaggeration: Golden State wanted to keep him, but needed every dollar to sign DeAndre Jordan. The Rockets, too, were behind him … it just wasn’t in the cards for them financially. The college recruiting stuff, however, is accurate, in my opinion.
