A Very Brady Wedding: Tom Brady’s sister engaged to Kevin Youkilis

AP Thanksgiving at the Bradys just got more interesting. So one of Tom Brady’s older sisters is marrying into the Boston Red Sox: Julie Brady — she’s the second of Tommy’s three sisters — is getting hitched to Kevin Youkilis, as was first reported by the Boston Herald today. For those keeping score at home, Brady’s eldest sister, Maureen, was an All-American softball pitcher for Hillsdale High (San Mateo, Calif.) who went on to play at Fresno State. Julie played soccer at St. Mary’s College (Moraga, Calif.) and Nancy played softball at the University of California.

He’s really lucky,” one of Youk’s buds told the Track. “She’s a really nice person, but all the Bradys are nice people.”
We put in a couple of calls to congratulate No. 20, but he was unavailable. Shocking.
Friends report that Youk and Julie met at a postgame party at Patriot Place last year after that other New York team Jet-tisoned the Patriots out of the playoffs. Not a good night for Tom, but a rather good one for his sis!
It will be Julie’s first marriage and Youk’s second. He was married in 2008, but turns out not legally, to Ben Affleck’s ex, Enza Sambataro. They split two years later and she resigned as CEO of his charity, Youk’s Kids.
No one’s saying when or where the wedding will be, although speculation here (I’m near San Mateo as I write this) is that it will be in Los Angeles.
We’re rooting for a double wedding: Anna Burns, Miss Hooters International 2005, is getting to married to Wes Welker, as you know.

Having Youk’s contract would be a plus, too, I suppose.

—————————————————————————————————————————————————–I had no problem with Gronkowski not sitting in his hotel room crying all night after the Super Bowl. But that being said, apparently Patriots post-game parties after losses in big games are quite eventful.
