Nice catch: Wes Welker gets engaged to former Miss Hooters International

With wives like these, who needs Super Bowls? Tom Brady has international model Giselle Bundchen, and now Patriots wideout Wes Welker is engaged to Hooters girl Anna Burns. But she’s not just any Hooters girl: Anna was Miss Hooters International, 2005. Slightly disturbing graph from the Boston Herald story:
Anna was by her boo’s side for his surgery [in 2010] and rehab, and the two have been living together ever since. He makes her breakfast in bed. She made him flannel pajamas with cowboy boots on them for Christmas. He says she thinks his biggest flaw is, “I don’t sleep enough.”
My advice? Never get engaged to a star NFL player during a Super Bowl season. That way you don’t get a free trip to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl.
