‘Husky Hat Robber’ fails at robbing, is chased off by clerk with golf club

I’ve seen plenty of baseball cap bandits over the past couple of years, but here’s a twist: a guy wearing a Washington Huskies puppet hat attempted to rob an Everett, Wash., smoke shop on Jan. 11, and was summarily chased from the premises by the golf club-wielding proprietor.

Police described the suspect as white and in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 170 pounds. He was seen wearing green pants, a green shirt, tennis shoes, a dark jacket and a Husky ski cap that he used to try to hide his face.

Tried, and failed. The hat covered everything except his face.
