This is Jim Irsay’s way of saying that Peyton Manning isn’t retiring, I take it. Well played.

Speculation has run rampant today that Irsay was Rob Lowe’s source after Lowe tweeted Peyton Manning retirement rumors to an unbelieving populace. The two are friends, and Irsay follows Lowe on Twitter. But I guess Irsay isn’t actually one of Lowe’s “people” after all.

Or … Irsay could be on to a big Hollywood scoop himself.
