As boxer Floyd Mayweather gets ready to start his 90-day prison sentence on January 6th for domestic abuse, he’s might be enjoying the spoils of a recent Tim Tebow defeat.

It is being rumored that Mayweather placed a one million dollar bet at M resort in Las Vegas that the Denver Broncos would lose to the New England Patriots in their week 15 match-up. The Patriots ended up wining by the score of 41-23 and the rumors started from there:

Reached for comment Wednesday, Mike Colbert, Cantor Gaming sports book director at M Resort, wouldn’t confirm or deny the rumblings. Colbert said he wasn’t allowed to comment on who bets what but acknowledged Mayweather is “a valued customer who frequents the books quite often.”

Mayweather often posts photos of winning six-figure betting slips on his Twitter feed. He reportedly has members of his entourage — known as the “Money Team” — make the bets. That’s only illegal if the person making the bet is being paid and lies about making the bet on someone’s behalf.

They don’t call him “Money” Mayweather for nothing….

Floyd is a showboat jerk. Hope he bet on Denver in that game. Taking NE in that game was almost a sure bet. Same for any rematch. Floyd is still a showboat jerk.
