Bill Cosby is still enamored with Tim Tebow and his ‘Tebowing’ powers

Getty Images A couple weeks back, well-known comedian Bill Cosby decided to post a video on YouTube about his upcoming trip to Denver and to talk about that Tim Tebow guy.
After the video was posted, Cosby decided to continue his pro-Tebow stance in an interview with the Christian Post where he defends Tebow against the evils of the media and his biblical ability to praise others:
I like what’s happening in Denver. The beauty of what I see is that Tebow speaks his mind.
There are thus people in the media and business who after an athlete does something will give them a bum rush. Mr. Tebow is someone who the media has picked on. ESPN found all sorts of athletes and experts to say this young man is not a good football player and that the other starting quarterback is better. They said his footwork is awful and that he is a freak or something that couldn’t play at all.
People are Tebowing, Tebowing and Tebowing but Tebow won’t allow people to focus on what he has done and has not done. He just states the glory of being out there and the privilege of playing. He tells them how his team plays and succeeds and the way he does it is almost biblical.
It’s nice to see that Mr. Cosby love of Tim Tebow matches his previous love of Jello Pudding Pops.

Always liked Mr. Cosby. He is a great comedian, businessman, and social commentator. I like him even more now. Tim Tebow was a winner at Florida and now given a chance by the then hapless Broncos he has been a winner since. His teammates respect him. Even Elway respects him. Maybe Elway can spend a little time with Tebow and teach him a quicker fade back and release and short passes in the flat and he will have passing to go with the his great running ability.

I just wish that you would report sports on the sports pages, report crime on the crime pages and religion on the religion pages. It’s not so much that I don’t like the way Tebow plays as much as I hate getting religion from him. Who does he think he is? Oh, wait, he’s the second coming isn’t he?

Wow, how long has it been since Bill Cosby mattered? What’s Abe Vigoda’s stance on Tebow? Go find him and report back.
