In a flurry of plea deals, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has settled two legal entanglements, the big one for misdemeanor domestic violence in 2010. Mayweather was sentenced Wednesday to 90 days in jail for that one, and he reports to jail on Jan. 6, reported the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Mayweather, 34, was sentenced by Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa after he pleaded guilty to one count of battery-domestic violence and no contest to two counts of harassment.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors agreed to drop the original felony counts the boxer was charged with after the Sept. 9, 2010, incident with his three children and their mother, Josie Harris. If convicted of the felonies, Mayweather faced up to 34 years in prison.

The Review-Journal also reports that Mayweather has agreed to plead no contest next week to a misdemeanor charge of battery and pay a $1,000 fine for poking and verbally abusing a security guard over parking issues in Nov., 2010.

All in all, compared to sentences he could have received, a couple of slaps on the wrist for Mayweather. And another booking mug shot for your collection.
