Getty Images The world of Twitter can be a great place for athletes to catch up on the latest news and for Green Bay Packers linebacker Desmond Bishop, a chance to be ridiculed for not knowing about the Joe Paterno firing.
Last night, Bishop sent out the below Tweet on his account:
Joe pa got fired?!?! Wtf.. wat did he do?
As you can understand, many his followers decided to let him know about the ongoing scandal at Penn State regarding former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky and fired back minutes later with this Tweet:
Apparently I’ve been livin under a rock. Google here I come, form my own opinion.
Now some may ask, how is it possible that Bishop didn’t catch wind of it considering all of the media outlets and other means of technology that could have informed him, this Tweet might explain it:
Ha! But no I’ve not been watching tv..film & playing mw3 til I go to sleep.. ha
For once, I think the Call of Duty defense is a reasonable explanation.

This is the same guy that couldn’t get into the White House because he forgot the paperwork needed. Good MLB…bad at common sense.

If the defense he plays, on MW3 is anything like the team on the field, he is in for a world of hurt.
Did anyone happen to notice his celebration by mimicking some baby powder, and slap last week by chance?
Or was that just me?
