Wakeup Call: Penn State students do not care for WTAJ Action News (video)

These days, college riots are usually only associated with two things: someone winning a championship, or Otter and Bluto building a rogue parade float to disrupt the homecoming parade. Little did we know that one would be touched off by the firing of a tiny, bespectacled football coach. Oh Penn State … I never thought that the name Joe Paterno would be associated with “Officer, they’re looting the Food King!”

Actually, as riots go, this one was rather mild. Except for the news van tipping, and the genius kid who was hanging from a street sign and fell to the pavement.

These are strange times we live in, are they not? How does a group of students who claim that Paterno is “a class act,” honor his service to the university by tipping over vehicles, breaking glass and hanging from street signs? Or, as Fark.com put it: “In honor of Joe Paterno, Penn State students will witness illegal acts, then fail to report them to authorities.”

And why must we drag the Pirates into this? Don’t they have their own problems?
