All future Paterno comments will now only be made through double-pane insulation

Ironically, the windows at Joe Paterno’s house seem to have been installed to the strictest industry standards. Too bad we can’t say the same thing about the Penn State athletics program. A scheduled press conference on campus was canceled earlier today, but then one cropped up at Paterno’s home, as a crowd of supporters gathered in his yard. From the Twitter account of’s Ben Jones:

Paterno holding a press conference out his window in tears. “No matter what happens to some people Im proud of you”

Jones also tweeted that students were chanting the school’s motto:

Penn State students screaming the lyrics to the Alma Mater “May no act of ours bring shame.”

OK, then.

We don’t wish to be cynical, but why did JoePa not stand for the press conference that was called and arranged, rather than walking out silently. He needs to answer questions. Not just questions from the Press, but also from a special prosecutor appointed by the Governor or Attorney General of Pennsylvania to investigate who knew what when, and how they covered it up. Let all who are guilty of covering it up be charged at least for some violation. We have cried many tears for these children, as we see in them our children. There is no more sacred trust than we have with our children and no crime so hideous as what child predators/rapists do to young children. The children bear scars for the rest of their lives. The child predator should receive the maximum penalty because even clinical psychiatrists do not think they can be cured.

Is it really appropriate to be making fun of any part of this situation Rick?

Penn State students supporting him are stupid as all get out.

On a side note, it bothers me how college students always feel like they have to have some dumb freaking cause to stand behind.

Shut up and go to class.

A lot of classes at that hour of the night where you went to college? If you went to college?

Yes, Kyle, I went to college.

Actually, at a University the size of Penn State, I am sure there are a ton of evening/night classes.
