Vulture takes down paraglider (video) … now with hilarious English subtitles

So what we have here is a Russian paraglider who’s soaring over the Indian Himalayas when a vulture becomes entangled his parachute. Thankfully he was able to deploy his reserve chute and descend safely. What happens next is nothing short of brilliant, real-life comedy: the most hilarious example of a man talking to a wild bird ever recorded. See the videos below and I think you’ll agree.

The paraglider is speaking Russian, as reflected in the first video. The second video includes English subtitles. You are not going to want to miss that. Excerpt:

“You stupid f***ing eagles. Flying around without any rules without f***king looking around …”

PARAGLIDER (on two-way radio): “Guys, guys, it’s Paravoffka, do you hear me? Tell the base I’m OK. An eagle f***ing hit me. I f***ing had to land with a reserve parachute. Now I’m sitting in the woods.

“I have a f***ing eagle stuck in my glider. I can’t get him out.”

VOICE OVER RADIO: “Are you OK? Unharmed?”

PARAGLIDER: “Wait, wait, it’s pecking me! I mean it’s pecking my glider!

“I honestly don’t want to kill it, I feel sorry for it. But it can cripple me. It has a huge pecker. It may nip my fingers off.”

VOICE OVER RADIO (laughter): “So Andre, Sergei, listen. Voffka is OK. He’s fighting a chicken. A huge chicken crashed into him.”

PARAGLIDER (attempting to free the vulture): “Hey, b****, stop! It’s running down the hill with my glider! F***ing winged bastards.”

VOICE OVER RADIO: “Listen, his bros are flying above you, eager to kick someone’s ass.”

PARAGLIDER: (As vulture breaks free and flies away): “F*** you, b****. The eagle is free! The eagle is OK! I’ll pack my things.”
