For those of you who are wishing for a world where boxer Vitali Klitschko is the president of the Ukraine, that might be coming sooner than you think.

Recently, Vitali has been throwing around the idea of retirement from the world of boxing and entering the world of politics full-time after retirement.

The boxer made the announcement during an interview with TVi channel. The 40-year-old Klitschko said that his fan should not be upset with his decision. He said that his brother Wladimir was five years younger than him, “so he will continue fighting for a long time,” Korrespondent.net said.

In 2005, Vitali started doing politics. In April 2010, he chaired the Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reforms party (UDAR). In 2006, he ran for the position of the mayor of Kiev, but came second in the race.

Hopefully, Vitali will be able to knock out his next opponent for the presidency and as long as his opposition isn’t Lennox Lewis, I think he’ll be okay.

“as long as his opposition isn’t Lennox Lewis”? It is common knowledge that Vitali Klitshko sent Lennox Lewis into retirement (Lennox knows that very well). Of course, Lennox was a good boxer, but when it came to Klitshko… he did fear being knocked out, so he preferred a disappointing and shameful retirement than an honorable defeat against Klitshko.

He can knock out the competition. Both figuratively and literally.
