San Francisco mayor’s campaign video co-stars Brian Wilson, will.i.am, insanity (video)

The word “genius” is thrown around a lot these days … and sadly it can’t be used here. “Surreal,” “entertaining” and “WTF?” are appropriate responses, however. Yep, that’s the Giants’ Brian Wilson in MC Hammer pants and a “Fear the Mustache” t-shirt, as he co-stars in a very peculiar campaign video for San Francisco interim mayor Ed Lee.
Ronnie Lott, MC Hammer, will.i.am and Willie Brown are among others featured in the video, which purports to increase Lee’s hipness quotient from it’s current zero to something-that-makes-him-electable. We’ll know in a few days, as the election for SF mayor is on Nov. 3. Lee was appointed mayor in January to serve out the remainder of former mayor Gavin Newsom’s term, after Newsom resigned to take office as Lieutenant Governor of California. Lee had said that he wouldn’t run for the full term, but according to recent election documents, he’s “2 legit 2 quit.”

I just wonder if Brian Wilson will bring his Black Ops team? Cause if he doesn’t, it never happened.

Brian Wilson? Why would a crappy, washed up, worthless choke artist be anywhere near a camera if he isn’t pathetically attempting to pitch baseballs down the field with his feminine princess noodle arm. Someone needs to tie that beard around his neck and kick him out of a moving car.
