Lingerie Football League sends recruitment letter to Michael Jackson’s 13-year-old daughter. Seriously

Getty Images “Hello Lingerie Football League, my name is Chris Hansen from NBC. Would you have a seat, please? I’d like to ask you a couple of questions.”
It should be stressed that the LFL is not proposing that Paris Jackson play in their bra-and-panties circuit, at least not yet. Right now they’re recruiting her as a “league spokesperson.” Yep. TMZ has obtained a letter sent, it says, to the representative of Michael Jackson’s young daughter by the LFL and commissioner Mitchell S. Mortaza. Jackson got on their radar, evidently, when she recently became the only girl to sign up for her private school’s flag football team. Excerpt from the LFL letter:
“We … would like to invite Paris to become the spokesperson for the LFL’s youth program and perhaps start training for a future football career in the LFL when she reaches the age of 18.”
Here’s the letter (.pdf file).
I may not know a lot about public relations, but the words “13-year-old girl” and “lingerie” should not be mingling in the same sentence under any scenario. LFL, before you were just a jiggly, amusing sideshow, but now you’re officially icky. As Susie Greene would say on Curb Your Enthusiasm: “Begone with you, a******.”
