Getty Images One of the great things about the big Harbaugh-Schwartz pushfest on Sunday is that we had an embedded reporter who was part of the action. Niners’ lineman Anthony Davis is the player who pulled Schwartz away from Harbaugh during the post-game melee, when things started really getting chippy. Moments later, Davis tweeted this:
@AnthonyDavis76 Lions got TeaBaggggggged in thier house lmao.. lol and i saved shwartz life at the end..
Sadly, Davis has since removed that tweet, plus several others, including this:
@AnthonyDavis76 They talked **** to us all week. We said nothin.. Came and kicked that ass.. its ****** football **** classy.. Save classy for Mortons lol
Lions Nation not taking it well, as you’d imagine. Nor is the Lions’ Cliff Avril:
@cliffavril: @AnthonyDavis76 lol that’s real professional homie… Well meet again and see what’s up••• Lmao **** youuu.. You did NOTHING➫ lol yea u tough on twitter Bruh
Now it’s come to my attention that some NFL pundits are calling for the end of the coaches’ post-game handshake, noting that it’s a relatively recent tradition and can only lead to trouble. To which I say: that’s exactly why we should keep it.
