Floyd Mayweather is training intensively for his upcoming bout with Victor Ortiz, and as you know with Money, that always includes healthy daily workouts for the thumbs. He attacked Ortiz on Twitter over the weekend, writing that Ortiz shows a lack of character by looking up to Oscar De La Hoya. The latter, as you know, admitted to drug and alcohol abuse and adultery in a recent interview on Univision. On Sunday, Mayweather tweeted:

Mayweather most likely is referring here to De La Hoya’s quote in the interview, “We’re obviously not talking a Tiger Woods here, but I was unfaithful.” De La Hoya also admitted in the interview that it was indeed him dressed in drag in a series of infamous photos. There was more:

@FloydMayweather Floyd Mayweather
Oscar De la Hoya is trying to stay relevant by admitting to his vices and Victor said he look at that man like “GOD” 12:36 AM Sep 4th

@FloydMayweather Floyd Mayweather We are tired of Victor Ortiz story about his struggles. Its Boring now. Blacks go through life struggles all the time and always RISE 12:23 AM Sep 4th

Mayweather fans should be heartened by the fact that the old Money seems to be back in working order after a long layoff, lashing out somewhat nonsensically at everyone and everything. And if his tweets feed the hype machine, more people watch the fight. It’s just too bad that Tiger Woods had to be dragged into this once again. Poor Tiger.

I’m also having trouble picturing Tiger and Floyd as “brothers.” Think they hang out much?
