SOMEbody needs a Bully Beatdown … Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller arrested for assaulting his sister

Getty Images OK I’ll admit it: The only reality show I watch is Bully Beatdown, the MTV series that pits UFC fighters against adult neighborhood bullies. It’s my guess that the “bullies” and their “victims” aren’t quite legitimate, but the fights appear to be real. The host is UFC fighter Jason “Mayhem” Miller, who stepped into the ring to fight one bully himself in the current Season 3.
Well, major irony alert: Miller was arrested for assault last week when he put his sister into a headlock at a house party in North Carolina. She reportedly wanted to leave the party, and he refused to let her go. From TMZ:
We’re told Jason’s sister managed to escape and notified the Chatham County Sheriff — who had Jason arrested later that evening for simple assault and false imprisonment.
Jason has since posted bail and been released. Several calls to both Jason and his sister were not returned.
Miller, who was once removed from Strikeforce: Los Angeles for, get this, brawling, will be a coach on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter with Michael Bisping.
No, this is not the same “Mayhem” who causes all the havoc in those AllState commercials. Although the motto from that commercial: “Mayhem is everywhere. Are you in good hands?” seems appropriate here.

Yeah, sorry, if Miller actually assaulted his sister, she wouldn’t be in a position to make phone calls. Why did she need Miller’s permission to leave? She’s incapable of calling a cab? There are many questions to be answered in this one. I’m not condoning it, in the slightest, but putting your sister in a headlock is hardly what I’d call assault. Did she have to go to the hospital for her rough treatment? Were there even ANY bruises? I’m guessing they were both drinking, and a story got blown out of proportion, because I really question her ‘escaping his headlock’. I’ve seen the guy fight numerous times, and yeah, that’s not something you do easily.
Btw, the brawl that you’re referring to occurred in Nashville, not LA, wasn’t his fault. He asked Jake Shields for a rematch, right after he’d beaten Henderson to retain the title, Shields shoved him backwards through a banner several feet behind Miller, then basically the entirety of Shield’s contingent jumped on him, including, Strikeforce Champion’s (at the time), Gilbert Melendez, Nick and Nate Diaz, and Shields himself. His timing was poor, sure, but there was absolutely no reason for the response Shields & Co. had. Shields is typically a very laid back individual, and that was just ridiculous.

Sounds like both were drunk, he probably thought he was playing, but due to his strength & drunkeness it was probably too rough for her and, to get him back, cops were called.
Of course that’s purely speculation.
