Erin Andrews to Regis Philbin: ‘The Eagles have too much of that Miami Heat kind of scenario’ (video)
Aug 18, 2011, 8:44 PM EDT
It may just be me, but I sensed zero chemistry present when Erin Andrews co-hosted Live With Regis and Kelly on Wednesday. Maybe its because Reege is old enough to be her grandfather. But an interesting moment came when the two started talking NFL, and Philbin picked the Eagles to go to the Super Bowl this season. Andrews came back with this:
“Don’t you think [the Eagles] have too much of that Dream Team/Miami Heat kind of scenario where they get everybody on their team, and it never works out that well.”
Oh, snap.
That line comes in at about the 4:02 mark on the video below.
Love the part where Regis admits he’s never been to Fenway Park, and Erin roundly scolds him. Anyway, I’m sure plenty of folks have been making the Eagles/Heat connection lately, but this is the first time I’ve heard someone come out and say it. For the record, Andrews seemed to place Tom Brady and the Patriots in the Dirk Nowitzki/Dallas Mavericks role. Ha.

If she didn’t look good, she wouldn’t have a job.

All you Erin haters just go away. She’s much better than alot of the men., and actually knows about football. Jealous.

Mike Vick is a career under achiever that has never delivered when the pressure is on. Andy “father of the year” Reid cannot coach a big game if his life depended on it.
Eagles will disappoint once again in 2011.

@clk320cpe
Bringing Andy Reid’s children into an argument is highly uncalled for and not relevant to his job performance at all.
Bill Belichick, arguably the best football coach of all time, had to deal with his son’s arrest for possession of marijuana, wanna bring that into the next argument?

Alson, Tony Dungy, the nicest guy in FB son killed himself because his father sucked at that job, but noone seems to care about that. So leave his family out of it
