Stephen Colbert’s promotional prowess knows no bounds, and cannot be defeated by conventional weapons. This time he’s legally hacked the MLB.com Twitter feed, as you know by now if you follow it, by winning a bet with Major League Baseball. And as of 5 a.m. ET this morning, he was churning along in fine form:

MLB
I can’t wait to see Ken Burns’ nine-part documentary about my control of baseball’s twitter feed. #Colbert

MLB
Am I the only person who thought @MLB was the twitter handle of Matt LeBlanc? #Colbert

Colbert correctly predicted MLB players who would get at least one hit in two straight games, beating an MLB representative who only predicted one. So the Colbert Report host got control of the MLB.com Twitter feed for 24 hours, beginning at midnight. Should be an interesting day.

MLB
Well, I’ve exhausted my baseball knowledge. On to pole vaulting! How about Chelsea Johnson taking the silver in the ’09 Worlds? #Colbert

Meanwhile, Colbert investigates Craig Counsell ‘s chances of breaking the all-time hitless at-bat streak of 46.
