There’s another Marinovich in college football, and he sports a Wyatt Earp mustache

Meet Mikhail Marinovich, senior defensive end for the Syracuse Orangemen, majoring in rhetorical studies and 1970s Oakland A’s mustaches. Yep, he’s the half brother of Todd Marinovich, the much-hyped former quarterback for USC and the Los Angeles Raiders who didn’t quite, um, pan out in the pros.

Here’s his photo for the football media guide … which leaves us to believe that the mustache may be fake. If true, and he conducted an interview with a fake handlebar ‘stache completely deadpan, that would be so unbelievably cool it would be off the scale.

The reason for the mustache? Perhaps it’s because Marinovich and teammate Niko Rechul own a hookah bar, which they opened near the Syracuse campus in 2008. This is completely true.

Oh Marinovich family, we just can’t quit you.
