Floyd Landis on Lance Armstrong: ‘He’s a bully. He has a sense of entitlement that defies any kind of reason’

Floyd Landis has accused former cycling teammate Lance Armstrong of illegal doping before; that’s nothing new. For one thing, he detailed a lot of it in his book Positively False, released last year. But recently Landis sat down with Graham Bensinger on In Depth and painted a more complete picture of Armstrong, who, according to Landis, is incredibly arrogant in addition to being a cheater. Armstrong, says Landis, routinely cruised through airport customs in other countries, refusing to let security personnel check his belongings — which often included syringes and drugs.
Armstrong also used to brag about getting pulled over by police and never getting a ticket, and once became incensed when he did receive one. Landis:
“He’s a bully … He has a sense of entitlement that defies any kind of reason. He’s been on top so long, since he was 16 or 17 he’s been royalty in the sport. … The difference between Armstrong and I is he got satisfaction out of making people lose. He likes to see people lose. I got satisfaction out of winning and it didn’t really have anything else to do with other people.”
And here’s Landis on the odds that three-time Tour de France winner Alberto Contador is doping:
“I can’t give you a statistical likelihood, but I know for sure that his coach is my previous drug dealer.”

Let us remember….Floyd is a liar, is a liar, is a liar, is a liar, is a liar, is a liar. Can we all remember that? Floyd is also a proven cheater. Can we remember that? Now he attacks Lance when he probably should be polishing Lance’s shoes.

Is this the same Lance Armstrong who used federal funding to purchase and distribute performance enhancing drugs? Or the same Lance Armstrong who perpetrated a fraud on the American public with his “livestrong” stuff while secretly engaging in illicit drug taking? Or the same Lance Armstrong who bullied that other cyclists who spoke out against him? Yeah, Lance has a lot of credibility in my book. When will the hero worship of this guy stop?

I don’t care much about either guy, but I’m quite sure both are cheats. And by all accounts, Lance is a jerk.

We know that literally ALL of the riders who shared the podium with Lance during his seven year reign tested positive and were suspended at some point; so to believe Lance rode clean, you have to believe that not only was he the most dominant rider in the history of the sport, but he did so when he was the only top rider who WASN’T cheating… the equivalent would be to believe that Barry Bonds was the only player in baseball who wasn’t juicing. I’m guessing southernpatriots won’t sign on for that one…
