Rachel Uchitel upset with being forced to return Tiger Woods hush money

Rachel Uchitel — remember her? — has returned a large chunk of the $10 million she received to keep mum about her affair with Tiger Woods, according to TMZ. But now she’s having second thoughts, and has fired her lawyer, Gloria Allred, for advising her to do it. And she may sue Allred for malpractice.
Remember when Uchitel scheduled a press conference last year to blab all about her alleged affair with Woods? Then the press conference was abruptly canceled? Any of this ring a bell? Hello? (Bumps you on head with golf club). Uchitel and lawyers for Tiger Woods worked out a deal so that she wouldn’t speak out, and the settlement — according to many sources, among them TMZ — was worth $10 million. It also included a confidentiality agreement that prohibited Rachel from talking about Tiger.
But Tiger’s lawyers recently said they’re going after Uchitel for violating the terms of the agreement by going on the television show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, among other things. From TMZ:
We’re told Rachel felt strongly she had not violated the agreement, but Gloria allegedly convinced her she would lose if push came to shove, so Gloria struck a deal with Lavely — that Rachel would return the lion’s share of the settlement money.
But our sources say … what has Rachel fuming is that Gloria allegedly made a deal with (Tiger’s attorney) Jay Lavely — that Gloria would still get all of her attorney’s fees. Rachel believes Gloria sold her out … allegedly making a deal with Tiger’s lawyer to strong-arm Rachel into giving the money back and in return Gloria would get her fee — a fee Gloria would not have received if Rachel went to arbitration and lost.
This comes just in time for Woods, who is apparently strapped for cash.
And now Uchitel wants Allred to return her attorney fee, or she’ll file a legal malpractice lawsuit. Anyway, Uchitel is now clear to write that tell-all book, which should recoup some of the money. And here’s my idea, which I offer free of charge: Rachel, the Musical. With Wayne Brady as Tiger Woods, and music by Elton John. Coming next year: See you there!

Gloria Allred, used to be a ‘champion’ of women’s rights’ but recently it’s more like a madam with a law degree. OTOH, Tiger should have just let his h00kers talk instead of paying them off since what he did was morally wrong, not illegal. Most other athletes and reporters writing about it either have, or are, done the exact same thing in their own broken marriages.
I mean, isn’t it enough that he paid his wife hundreds of millions of dollars…. a woman whose highest accomplishment until she met him was being a nanny? Why would you pay more money?
