OK not really, but Brian Wilson is going to the White House to meet President Obama next Monday, as will the rest of the San Francisco Giants in commemoration of their 2010 World Championship. Yes, even though everyone’s already crowned the Phillies or possibly the Rangers this season, the Giants still own the current trophy. And by the way, how did those Philadelphia and Texas predictions go last time?
Anyway, my point is keep Wilson away from the freaking red phone, please.
And for those who say that Wilson and his antics have jumped the shark? It’s kind of hard to jump anything when you’re carrying 28 saves and a World Series trophy.
