Jim Riggleman knows how to resign in style

What now-departed Washington Nationals’ manager Jim Riggleman lacks in tact, he clearly makes up for in style — as in the blonde, pearly white-smiled style of the presumed co-ed Riggleman is pictured with here the night after his “now or never” ultimatum to team management left him unemployed and with a lot more time on his hands (though, without being able to zoom out on the shot, we don’t know if that’s all he had his hands on).

Riggleman decided to do what most of us do after losing a job — get drunk. Or at least let the local girls have the privilege of seeing him drunk.

“I’ll tell you what, I had to get down there and let those girls get a look at me. There’s some beautiful young ladies in that place. Unbelievable.”

Riggleman: So, we’re having a decent conversation… what’s your number?

Blonde chick: Um, yea, we’ve been talking for maybe 45 seconds; not really ready to give you my number yet.

Riggleman: I can respect that…so what’s your number?

Blonde chick: Can we talk about something else?

Riggleman: THAT’S IT, I’M OUT OF HERE!

No word if Riggleman was later replaced in the photograph by Davey Johnson.
