Typically when we run a story about a soccer playing scoring with his groin, we’re talking about WAGs. Sometimes, life can take a turn for the literal.
As seen below, Mexican footballer Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez found himself in front of the goal and in perfect position to score following a corner kick in extra time against Honduras on Wednesday, and he did just that…with his crotch. So, touching it at any point with your hands is illegal, but knocking it in for a goal with your junk is kosher? Just checking.
Also, Greg Oden has just been contacted by 14 teams in the Premiere League looking for more scoring punch.
Mexico won the match 2-0 and will face off against the U.S. in the Gold Cup finals tonight at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA where presumably Chicharito’s chicharito will not play a factor.
