Wake Up Call: Cody Ross gets Bartmaned by D-bag Giants fan (video)

Another day, another incident in which a fan thinks a batted ball is the f****** Holy Grail. They call this getting Bartmaned; a fate that befell the Giants’ Cody Ross as he vied for a foul ball with the guy in the Giants’ cap (behind the guy in the Twins jersey) Wednesday night at AT&T. The Giants fan ended up with it, then realizing what he’d done, covered his face in shame. He was then escorted from his seat by security (supposedly for his own protection … what is this, Philadelphia?). The Giants beat the Twins 5-1, so it didn’t matter I suppose.

Yes, you may have caught a brief glimpse there of Barry Bonds, who left the festivities in the top of the sixth (thanks for stopping by, Barry) to a mixture of cheers and boos. In honor of this, I turned off the game until the eighth.
