His name is Quillan Roberts (No. 18), and he was only in the game for Canada’s national under-17 squad because regular netminder Maxime Crepeau was injured in Canada’s 3-0 loss to Uruguay on Sunday. But with about three minutes remaining against powerful England in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico, and down 2-1, Roberts put some, excuse the phrase, English on the ball from midfield and tied things up.

It ended 2-2, giving the Canadians their first World Cup point and keeping them alive for a chance at the knockout round. It’s the first goal ever scored by a goalie in FIFA World Cup competition, and breaks Canada’s 13-match losing streak in the U-17 competition.

And it’s even better in Spanish:

The English are not taking this well.
