Day Three of the Dallas Mavericks’ NBA Championship reign, and the party’s still going on, apparently. And what’s a celebration without at least one arrest for public drunkenness? Our winner today is of course DeShawn Stevenson, for whom we might now ask the musical question, ‘how’s my drunk tank taste?’ NBC Dallas Fort-Worth:
Irving police said they were called to the Grand Venetian apartments along the 6200 block of Love Drive at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday after someone spotted an intoxicated person walking in the area.
When officers arrived, they found Stevenson. Officers reported Stevenson appeared intoxicated and didn’t know where he was.
Stevenson was given field sobriety tests and based on the results, his statements and the officer’s observations, he was arrested for public intoxication without incident.
Stevenson posted bail at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday..
ESPN:
“They felt he was a danger to himself and others,” Irving public information officer John Argumaniz said. “Basically, he was intoxicated to a point where [police] didn’t feel comfortable letting him walk away or leave. They didn’t have any other options at that point.”
Stevenson was released on $475 bond at 5:30 a.m. local time Wednesday.

Predictable for an idiot. Someone should also explain to him that while Abe Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation–in no way did Lincoln want slaves to have equal rights. Lincoln was still a racist. Good idea to indelibly put an image of him in an always-visible spot. God, what a stupid turd.
