Hey, there was the word ‘balls’ in the headline, so I clicked on it. Wait, that didn’t sound right. Anyway, Gothamist got the scoop when it heard this New York 1 interview with former Saturday Night Live member Ana Gasteyer, who was talking about the “Schweddy Balls” Christmas sketch which she performed with Molly Shannon and Alec Baldwin (video below).
“It has this crazy, massive popularity that’s kind of had a half life since I left the show. Ben and Jerry’s is coming out with a schweddy balls ice cream for Christmas this year.”
Ben & Jerry’s isn’t confirming or denying this, so it was probably a slip on Gasteyer’s part. I just hope it arrives in time for the holidays. And I don’t know what’s going to be in it, and I don’t want to know.
