May ze force be with you: Dirk Vader is here to win the Finals, rule your Universe with jump-shots

Funny, I would have thought if any team in the NBA Finals represented the Evil Empire, it would be the Heat.

With a tip of the hat to the always wonderful Sportress of Blogitude, we no longer have to wonder what it would look like if the greatest European player in the history of the National Basketball Association were a blood-thirsty, telekinetic space tyrant. Is it just me or does he look like a cross between an NHL player and an ape? Sort of like one-half Tie Domi, and one-half Tie Domi.

And what, no Jason Kidd as Emperor Palpatine? (Okay, so J-Kidd may be slightly too old). But how about JJ Barea as Yoda? Or Peja Stojokavic as Hans Solo, post-carbonite freeze?

Alright, I’ve just about exhausted my Star Wars knowledge so before I make a mistake and draw the ire of video store clerks and Dungeons & Dragons enthusiasts everywhere, we’ll leave you with the full-size image below.
