Soldier proposes to girlfriend at Royals game on Memorial Day (video)

Finally, mankind has figured out a way to use the JumboTron for good instead of evil. The place was Kauffman Stadium, and the day was Memorial Day. Eddie proposes to his girfriend, Celi, on the big screen, and you can’t write a better moment.
But my question for the Royals is, did they set this up just to be nice, or was it part of the team’s $500 ‘Marriage Proposal Package’? I tried to call the Royals, got switched to voice mail a couple of times and finally just left a message. So far they haven’t called back. Kind of takes away from the feel-good nature of this if Eddie had to pay the Royals 500 bucks to make it happen.
