So did everybody see the life-sized Hot Wheels car make that jump at the Indy 500? (Video)

The “Yellow Driver” (secret identity revealed below) made a jump of 332 feet at the Indianapolis 500, breaking the record of 301 feet set by Johnny Greaves in 2009. And the fact that he did it in a life-sized Hot Wheels car on a replica of a Hot Wheels track is pretty awesome. All of my GI Joes were going nuts as we watched it on TV at my Memorial Day Weekend party.
The car doesn’t hit the landing perfectly, but that didn’t seem to matter. Some pretty heavy-duty suspension there, eh?
Looks like the guy behind the wheel is professional driver and Top Gear America co-host Tanner Foust. Here’s a video of him explaining the jump.
Of course this is not representative of my childhood experience with Hot Wheels, because there were no plastic dinosaurs menacing the jump, and the dog did not race off with the car at the end of the stunt.
