Come see the amazing, gravity-defying baseball bat (video)

I hope you get to this before YouTube takes it down: this video taken at an unknown Mets game shows a bat standing on end after the backswing, and is just now going viral, as they say. It’s probably pretty old, so apologies if you’ve seen it before. I haven’t.

My thought is that there’s metal in the dirt, and the bat it corked with magnets. But that’s a stab in the dark.
