Getty Images Yeah I know, Barry Bonds has a certain reputation. As in, he wouldn’t think much of you, if he thought about you at all. He’s the man that Curt Schilling once called “The biggest ass in the history of the world.” But Bonds has always had a softer side that doesn’t get publicized much. Often this involves his own kids, but this time it had to do with someone else’s: the family of Bryan Stow, the Giants fan who was assaulted at Dodger Stadium in March. NBC Bay Area:
Stow family attorney Thomas Girardi said that former slugger Barry Bonds has donated to pay for their college education. He said the family has talked about turning other donations back to the fans if this suit is successful, but said the gift of a college of education is something they treasure and will keep.
Bryan is a single father. He has a son and a daughter who are both in grade school.
Stow is no longer in a medically induced coma but remains unconscious. His family has filed a lawsuit against the Dodgers, contending that the team new about dangerous fan behavior and did little to stop it.
Bonds has followed this story closely from the outset: soon after the attack, he visited Stow in the hospital in Los Angeles, and spent an hour in his room and left an autographed bat.

Family admits Bryan Stow has Criminal Past
In response to rumors circulating about Bryan Stow’s violent past and criminal history the Stow Family posted the following comment on the Bryan Stow Fund website:
